Quick Notes on Trek Expo Day 1

The jury is still out on the facility. The "main floor" is considerably smaller than the area they had at Expo Square. The general admission seats for the stage area are above the floor and they won't let you on the floor unless you have a floor ticket (this bothers me but I'm glad I bought a gold ticket). Imagine sitting on the second floor of your house to watch what was happening in the living room (and, imagine a BIG living room). It is, however, much cleaner and newer than the IPE building.

Onstage today were Bobby Clark, Robert Walker Jr. (who I didn't know had played Ensign Pulver), and Grace Lee Whitney. Anthony Montgomery showed up a little early and was signing autographs this evening. If his presence tonight was any indication, his stage time will be AWESOME.

Bobby Clark was nothing to write home about but it was interesting to hear him drop names of some of the people he worked with.

Robert Walker was pretty cool but nothing fancy.

Grace Lee Whitney has seen too much sun... but she was another name dropper.

Scotty, one to beam up.
