Have you already seen some good deals that will be available for Black Friday? Do any of those deals include a mail-in rebate? Is the item still a good deal without the rebate?
You may want to ask yourself that last question while you're out shopping. CPG, a company that processes rebates for a large number of major retailers and manufacturers (see a list here) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. From what I have read, many of the client companies will be covering the rebates themselves but the safe bet is... don't count on the rebate (even more so than usual).
