We just got done at the vet. Niki didn't make a sound on the way there (she's usually quite vocal) and was content to lie in my arms.
I looked at some pics I have of her earlier today. They confirmed that we made the right choice... And maybe later than we should have. She looked so comfortable lounging on the bed or sitting on the floor.
I know it is a necessary fact of life... But it still sucks.
Of course, having another kitty to love on @ home softens the blow a bit.
