Education is Expensive but Ignorance is Expensiver

So, I decide to go get my books today because a) I'm still on campus and it's a 5 minute walk and b) the population influx hasn't occurred yet so it's low(er)-stress.

I'm taking 6 hours this semester. That's two classes, each with one book. I bought no accessories - no pens, no pencils, no electronics, and no notebooks - just two, count them, two books.

My bill was over $135.00... for USED books.

Each book was over $65 and they're not that big. If it's over $60 it should at least be heavy. The last textbook I bought for more than $60 was an East Asian Art History book my junior year. It was this massive coffee table book that barely fit in my backpack. Heck, that thing was a coffee table.
