The road has been long,
The path has taken many turns;
Some for the better, some not.
The way was not always clear
But solidarity and friendship carried us through.
I leave today not sad
But not happy, either.
Thank you, all of you, for making this place bearable.
To all of my enemies, which I thankfully have very few,
