Lightning Pictures

I was studying at the local IHOP - bottomless coffee and free internet - when I checked the radar at Weather Underground and saw that I had just about enough time to get home before the front edge of a storm hit and might even have a few minutes before the heavy rain followed.

On the way home, I noticed that the sky was full of electrical activity. Once I actually got home, I found I had enough time to get home and get that fancy new camera my wife bought me for my birthday set up to take some lightning shots. Following are the best of the group.
