Brush fires still rage across Oklahoma tonight. In and around Oklahoma City alone, there have been over twenty significant fires, including one in NE Oklahoma City that has consumed approximately 320 acres and at least five homes. There are about a dozen fires, including the one in NE OKC, that continue to burn across the state.
One fire in Muskogee county was over a mile wide and has charred several thousand acres.
I wanted to let everyone know that, at least for the moment, my family is safe. No fires have broken out near our home nor the homes of my wife’s family.
