Letting Go

I've been advised that the Prednisone could be causing JD not to eat. True enough but I skipped it today and he has still refused everything for over 48 hours.

When I take him to the vet tomorrow, I intend to talk over the possibilities with her. Unless she can come up with something miraculous, I will have to make the decision. The wife and I talked about it this afternoon. Even if he started eating again and we got him stabilized, there's a question as to whether he would last to go home and what effect the trip would have on him.

He's very weak at the moment. He's having trouble getting up, then has trouble walking. I know it is because he is so weak due to lack of nourishment. I wish he would eat something.
