A Quick Note Before Turning In

I have survived my first week at the new job. Honestly, I am still trying to get my footing and understand the role I am supposed to play. The abdominal pain I was having has subsided and there is no more difficulty with that - thankfully. I had a follow-up appointment with my doctor today that went well but that's for another time.
