Here we go again! This blog has officially turned two years old! It was on July 5, 2003 that blogger ate my first post, about Wil Wheaton who inspired me to blog, and The Internet Ate My Homework was born. These days, I compose offline - but I'm keeping the title.
Last year, two days late, I celebrated the anniversary of my blog by posting major events mentioned, and not mentioned, in my blog. Sumarizing the "top stories" from the past year still seems like a great way to celebrate so here goes...

- I learned the joy of Competitive Lawn Mowing - an ideal I have all but abandoned
- The last of the IT Division's Red Raiders resigned - good riddance.
- Kevin and I took a road trip to help my sister move from Tulsa to Kansas City
- Jerry Goldsmith, composer best known for scoring films such as The Omen, Alien, and Chinatown, died July 21 at the age of 75
- I tried to destroy the Emergency On-Call phone at the office
- Francis Crick, codiscover of the DNA double helix, died July 28 at the age of 88

- Marlo R. "Bud" Schulz, my father-in-law, died February 13 at the age of 62. Oddly enough, he came into this world on the eve of a holiday (December 23) and went out on the eve of a holiday. We miss him.
- Suprisingly, we discover that Bud will have a bowling partner (he LOVED to bowl) in heaven when we hear that legendary bowler Dick Weber died on the same day (Feb 13) at age 75.

- Sandra Dee, actress best known as Gidget, died February 20 at the age of 63
- Simone Simon, actress best known for Cat People, died February 22 at the age of 93

- Chris LeDoux, country singer, died March 9 at age 56
- John Zachary DeLorean, auto executive, died March 19 at the age of 80
- Barney Martin, best known for playing Jerry Seinfeld's dad Morty on the hit show, died March 21 at age 82
